That was an interesting and entertaining programme. The subject matter means that there is a real danger if it becoming maudlin but that didn't happen.
"The inside of a gay bar is a bit like the bar from Star Wars." Brilliant! I actually laughed out loud at that one, much to the confusion of the other people in my quiet office.
Made me want to go for a pint as soon as I am off this damn late shift.
What a good show. Yeah, it was about pubs closing, but it was also funny, well informed (not often the case with broadcasts about beer) and, dare I say it, comforting. Nice one!
